Limbaugh featured in A.G. Edwards report

A.G. Edwards recently featured Cape Girardeau branch manager Marsha Limbaugh in the company's annual report. The St. Louis-based brokerage firm selected Limbaugh and one of her clients for one of three profiles used to illustrate the firm's commitment to customer service. The firm distributes the annual report nationally to all its shareholders.

A veteran of the brokerage industry, Limbaugh began her career as a registered financial consultant with Reinhold & Gardner when she moved to Cape Girardeau in 1977 with her husband, Steve.

She began working for A.G. Edwards in 1986, when the company bought the former Shearson branch and appointed her as branch manager. Taking an active role in the community outside her professional work, Limbaugh also currently serves on the board of directors for the Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation. Previously, she served on the board of directors for the Southeast Missouri State University Foundation and also for the Missouri Mansion Preservation Inc.

Westfield announces personnel changes

Joyce Hunter, who for more than two years has served as senior marketing director for Westfield Shoppingtown West Park and Westfield Shoppingtown South County in St. Louis, will now serve as senior marketing director exclusively at West Park.

Hunter will continue to provide strategic assistance on special project to the St. Louis group of six Shoppingtowns. Hunter makes her home in Cape Girardeau and is an active member of the Advertising Club and Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, the Shoppingtown announce the promotion of Michele Bolen to specialty leasing manager. Bolen has served as administrative assistant at the Shoppingtown for two years. In her new position, she will be responsible for managing special events planning, temporary leasing, static displays and additional leasing activities.

Cape Girardeau City Clerk Gayle Conrad was recently elected president of the Southeast Missouri Chapter of the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association.

The Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association is an organization established to promote the profession of the city clerk, deputy city clerk and finance officer of all cities in Missouri. The Southeast Chapter of the MoCCFOA was formed to bring together clerks from the Southeast Missouri area to discuss and share information on municipal issues that may affect them.

CNA joins surgical unit at Southeast Hospital

Rhon Abraham, a CNA with the Missouri Veterans Home, will join Southeast Missouri Hospital's surgical unit as of Friday. Abraham has been a certified nurse assistant since July 2001 and has been with the veterans home since October 2001.

Abraham will still be affiliated with the Missouri Veterans Home on a part-time basis.

Frazier gets master's in education administration

Pete Frazier III recently graduated from William Woods with a master's degree in education administration.

Frazier is a 1991 graduate of Central High School and received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1996 and in 1997.

He is a history and social studies teacher at Central High School and is the son of Mary and Eugene Frazier Jr. He is married to Brandelin Frazier and has two children.
