Bank VP named to President's Club

Karen Rigdon, vice president and account executive, has once again been recognized by Bank of America as one of the outstanding mortgage lenders in Midwest. Rigdon was awarded with Presidents Club membership for recognition as one of the top 5 percent of lenders. Rigdon has been with Bank of America since 1997 and has over 28 years of banking experience.

Commerce Bank chooses employee of the year

Bonnie Pohlman has been chosen as Commerce Bank's 2004 employee of the year. The award is presented each year to an outstanding employee in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area. Pohlman is a commercial loan assistant for the Cape Girardeau Commerce Banking Center at 160 S. Broadview St. She attended Southeast Missouri State University and has 21 years of experience in banking.

Corn grower from Delta wins third place for yield

A corn yield of 261.9059 bushels per acre earned grower Jerry Cox of Delta third place in the AA ridge till nonirrigated category of the 2004 national corn yield contest sponsored by the National Corn Growers Association. The award was announced at the 2005 Commodity Classic in Austin, Texas.

Commerce presents new achievement award

Janet Floyd has received the Commerce Bank President's Award for Excellence and Outstanding Achievement. The award, presented for the first time, was given to Floyd to recognize her leadership within Commerce Bank and dedication to superior service for customers in the Cape Girardeau community. Floyd joined Commerce Bank in February 1999 and currently is the branch manager at Cape Girardeau, and group sales manager for the Southeast Missouri region. Floyd is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where she received her bachelor's and master's of business administration.

Board of Realtors names award winners

Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors recently named several award winners from the area. Pinnacle Assisted winners were Bobby Gray, Jeff Martin, Terri Penrod, Martha Hamilton and Jane Clark.

Pinnacle Unassisted winners were Doris Jean Arnold, Sheila J. King, Kimberly A. Baker, Louisa M. Abernathy, David J. Donley, Dana M. Leming, Kenneth W. Inman, Thomas J. Kelsey, July Miller, Sandy Helwege and Sandy McLane Donley. Pinnace Assisted Sides winners were Gloria Mueller and Elizabeth Meyer McFerron.

The Rookie of the Year Award went to Debbie Houck.

The Summit Assisted Winner was Betty Lou Vogel.

Summit Unassisted winners were Denise E. Glass, Cathy Trentham, Birdie Rader, Donald R. McElmurry, Susan J. Cole, Linda R.
