NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: NEW OWNER, NEW NAME

A Cape Girardeau cash-register sales and service center has a new owner and a new name.

Digitron, which opened recently at 1420 Kurre Lane, is owned by Chuck Reiminger, who purchased the former H&S Cash Register Systems from Harry Ivester.

Reiminger, who has more than 25 years experience in selling and servicing registers and scales, is owner and president of the new company.

"I decided now was a good time to open my own business," said Reiminger. "I changed the H&S name to Digitron to emphasize the latest in computer technology I will be using in service work."
