NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: NEW NAME, NEW LOCATION FOR CARPET STORE

Carpet & Floor Center, formerly Cape Wholesale Flooring, has opened its new showroom at 592 Commercial.

The business, which represents one of the largest carpetmakers in the world -- Shaw Carpet & Floor, offers more than 120 colors in a number of styles, textures and weights.

The business also provides vinyl, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring, along with cleaning equipment and supplies.

Terry and Becky Glodo are owners of the carpet store.

Terry Glodo has been in the carpet business for nine years and has owned his own business for five years.

"We have more room in our new facility," said Becky Glodo. "We're in a new building with about 6,600 square feet."

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
