NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: NATION BROTHERS EXPANDING

Nation Brothers Starter and Alternator Service, 2210 Broadway, has expanded its operations.

"We have added aboaut 1,800 square feet for a full-service auto repair shop," said Bob Nations.

Nation Brothers has been in the business of new and rebuilt starters, generators and alternators for auto, truck, agriculture and industrial equipment since 1930. The company observed its 65th anniversary last year.

The company, previously on South Sprigg Street, has been at the Broadway location since 1989.

The company's new facility is a three-bay shop that permits work on six cars at a time.

The business is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 to noon Saturday.

All service equipment and mechanics at the shop are ASE certified, said Nations.
