The industrial corporation was organized in 1949. The stockholders, at a recent meeting, agreed to sell its property to the city for a price not to exceed $70,000.

Representatives of the industrial group told aldermen that the industrial group has not been active to any extent for the past 12 to 15 years and had decided to dissolve the corporation. The group thought the land could be best be used by the city.

The city would have seven years to pay for the property and that the payments from United Parcel for the building would more than cover the city's monthly payments.
