A new beauty salon has opened in downtown Cape Girardeau.
Total Image Salon, 124 N. Main, owned by Shawn and Stephanie Stockard, offers hair styling, nail care and tanning facilities.
Stephanie Stockard, a graduate of Stage One The Beauty School in Cape Girardeau, will manage the salon.

Shawn Stockard is manager of Broussard's Restaurant, which is next door to the salon.
Operators at the new salon include Sami Reeves and Heather Rodgers, both graduates of Stage One.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the salon Friday.
