A wall has been taken down and one has been added, said Kim Talley, owner of the beauty salon at 2532 William. New floor covering, product shelving, reception desks and a styling station have been added in the most recent renovation.

"We have revamped the entire reception area," said Talley.
The salon, which moved to William in December 1994, now includes nine stations, 12 stylists and two receptionists.
Special Effects opened in November 1989, in Broadview Plaza Center with four stations and four operators.
