MEMO: TG MISSOURI DONATES TO SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS

TG Missouri Corp., a Perryville manufacturer of parts for Toyota Motors and for domestic automakers, has donated a total of $38,890 to seven different organizations in Perryville and Perry County for the eighth straight year.

The unsolicited donations are the company's way of saying thanks for the community support, say company officials.

Organizations receiving checks this year were:

* Perry County Memorial Hospital, $5,00, to purchase furnishing for the Garden of Hope Oncology Unit.

* Riverside Regional Library, $5,000 to purchase books.

* Perry County Sheriff's Department, $7,390 to purchase patrol car video cameras.

* Perryville Police Department, $5,000 to assist with completion of a mobile communications and command unit, and to assist with canine unit.

* Perryville Fire Department, $5,000 to assist with hazmat response unit funding.

* Perry County School District 32, $6,500 to purchase commuters and software.

* St. Vincent Catholic School, $5,000 to assist with funding for accelerated reader program.
