Noranda and its employees in Marston are the largest contributor to that area's United Way agency.

United Way officials recently met with Noranda representatives to present plaques of appreciation to Noranda president Steve Heddle and United Steelworkers Local 7686 president Stan Ivie and United Steelworker's chief steward Mike Campbell.
