Three Southern Illinois wineries -- Alto Vineyards, Owl Creek Vineyards and Pomona Winery -- are teaming up with three area restaurants -- 17th Street Bar & Grill, Cristaudo's and Seafoood Specialties -- to present a taste of Southern Illinois' wines in a festival atmosphere.

The Saturday festival will be held at Alto Vineyards, a half-mile north of Alto Pass, on Highway 127, from noon to 5. A $15 fee at the gate ($12 in advance) includes tasting of wines and food and musical entertainment.
