Great Clips for Hair reached a milestone recently when it hit and passed the 1,500-mark in the number of salons. Salon openings in Albuquerque, N.M., and Columbus, Ohio, put the count at 1,500 and 1,501 respectively. Great Clips, which has an operation in Cape Girardeau, is headquartered in Minneapolis and is the nation's largest franchisers in the $50 billion hair care industry.
