Financial statements class set for June 28
The Small Business Development Center of the University of Missouri Extension, in cooperation with the Perryville Chamber of Commerce and the Perry County Industrial Development Authority, is offering a class called "Understanding Financial Statements for the Small Business Owner." The course will be offered at 6 p.m. June 28 at the University of Missouri Extension office at 321 N. Main St., Suite 1, in Perryville, Mo. Registration is limited to 30 participants. Net class tailored to community groups
The University of Missouri Extension is holding a free Internet workshop sponsored by the Madison County Extension office at 5 p.m. June 28 at Black River Electric in Fredericktown, Mo. Pipeline Group holding awareness program
The Pipeline Group's annual contractor awareness program will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 12 at the Osage Community Centre in Cape Girardeau. The program will be sponsored by a group of companies with a goal of preventing accidents and damages to underground pipelines and utilities. A free dinner will be catered by Jay's Bar-B-Q for people involved in excavation-related activities in Bollinger, Madison, Perry and Scott counties. A brief safety program will follow the dinner.
