Initiative to hold summit on education, business
Southeast Missouri WIRED will hold an education and business innovation summit from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. The WIRED initiative is a $5 million, three-year effort to promote economic development through education and training under the supervision of the Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri. Community leaders, businesses and industry, educators, health professionals and interested parties representing Cape Girardeau, Bollinger and Scott counties are invited.
Ribbon cutting to be held for spa in Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for Belladona Salon, Spa and Boutique at 201 S. Mount Auburn Road.
