A new clothing line designed exclusively for Seiferts was introduced Thursday.
The line, called Nine, reflects a new attitude and lots of personalized flair, said Cape Girardeau Seiferts Manager Peggy Tinsley.
Two fashion shows were held Thursday to help unveil the new designs.
A fashion show was held at West Park Mall from 5-6 p.m. Thursday. Refreshments were served.
"I see this as a career look," Tinsley said. "It's all in how you put it together. It's your own line."
She said shoppers can go down the wall and mix and match clothing to make an individual look.
The designs build on basic items like a white shirt and a blazer.
"It's layered, layered, layered," Tinsley said. "You can put something old with something new."
Nine has debuted at all Seiferts stores as part of a market expansion.
The line has been designed and manufactured exclusively for Seiferts. Items include short and long skirts, trousers and walking shorts, jackets and vests in a mix of plaids and patterns. Accessories include suspenders, scarves, berets, knee-high socks or tights and minimalist jewelry.
"It's very city, which I like. It's very high fashion, which I like, and there is no age," said Tinsley.
