Extension center hosting business class

The Small Business Development Center and the Univeristy of Missouri Extension Center in Perryville, Mo., are teaming up to offer a class on how to manage a small business more effectively and ways to obtain financing. The free class will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 15 at the extension office, 321 N. Main in Perryville, To register, call 243-3581.

Corn production meeting scheduled

The University of Missouri Extension Center will hold a corn production meeting from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The cost of the meeting will be $5 per person with advanced registration by today or $10 at the door. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. Register by calling 243-3581. The extension center is located at 684 West Jackson Trail in Jackson.
