Local chambers of commerce are hosting a variety of networking events next week, including business after hours, a women’s wine class, and a coffee meet-up.

A plethora of networking events across the region is planned for the coming week, hosted by various chambers of commerce.

n Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event will start at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Tee’ED OFF Golf and Performance, 121 W. Main St. in Jackson.

n Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Business After Hours event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at First State Insurance Agency, 406 N. Perryville Blvd. in Perryville.

n Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Women’s Network Wine Class from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Buckner-Ragsdale Event Center, 132 N. Main St. This will be the first such class hosted by the chamber and is taught by local restaurant owner DeWayne Schaaf. Registration is $40 and may be found at the chamber website, www.capechamber.com.

The Cape Girardeau chamber’s First Friday Coffee event, traditionally held on the first Friday of every month, will instead take place from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, to accommodate those who were traveling for the Fourth of July weekend. It will be held in its normal location, the Century Casino Cape Girardeau Event Center at 777 N. Main St. in Cape Girardeau. The main presentation will be a business growth program on the City of Cape Girardeau Water System.
