Ted Williams has been named senior commercial officer at First National Bank of Cape Girardeau, 2027 Broadway.
Bank president Jim Limbaugh announced Williams' appointment last week.
Williams, a veteran financial services profession, Haas been involved in banking and financial services a number of years. He joined Boatmen's Bank, now Bank of America, in 1987, where he served as consumer and commercial lender. He later managed Boatmen's Bank of Jackson and served as CEO at the branch in Lebanon, Mo. He returned to Cape Girardeau in 1997, and has served as a senior commercial lender for Bank of America. As a senior commercial officer for First National, Williams will be responsible for commercial banking activities and private client business development and enhancement throughout the area.
Williams is a graduate of Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, with a B.S. in agriculture business and economics.
First National Bank, headquartered at Sikeston, has branches in Cape Girardeau, Chaffee, Jackson, Miner, Caruthersville and five branches in the St. Louis area.
