Jeffrey Jackson, formerly a reporter with the Southeast Missourian news staff, has been named editor and general manager of the Nevada Daily Mail and Sunday Herald.
Jackson has been editor for the Daily Mail and Herald the past seven months. He will work with new Daily Mail-Herald publisher Carl Simpson, who was previously owner of the Nevada News, owned by Rust Communications, which also owns the Southeast Missourian.
In his new role, Jackson will continue to be responsible for all editorial content of the newspapers. In addition, he will assist Sampans in the overall management of the company.
