Dr. Kishore Khot has joined the staff of Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau. He will provide specialized psychiatric consultation, assessment and treatment services throughout the Center's service area.
Khot will provide service s through the Cape Girardeau and Jackson offices of Community Counseling Center, as well as at satellite offices in Bollinger, Perry, Ste. Genevieve and Madison counties.
Khot was most recently affiliated with the University of Florida, where he completed a one-year fellowship in geriatric psychiatry. He earned his doctorate degree in 1990 at J. N. Medical College in Belgaum, India. He completed his psychiatric residency at the Albany Medical Center, the Capital District Psychiatric Center and the Samuel S. Stratton V.A. Medical Center, all in Albany, N.Y.
During 1993 and 1994, he provided general medical services, primarily pediatrics, on a volunteer basis at two public hospitals in Bombay, India.
Khot joins the practice of Dr. Robert McCool, Dr. Reeta Rohatgi, Dr. Peter Moran an and Dr. Dawn Caruso at the Community Counseling Center.
