BUSINESS PERSONNEL: IN NEW POSITION

Claudia Murphy of Jackson has been named branch manager of the SEMO Banking Center in Cape Girardeau.

Murphy's appointment was announced recently by Steve Ketelsen, Wood & Huston Bank Branch president.

Murphy has been with Wood & Huston Bank -- formerly SEMO Bank -- since 1981.

As branch manager, she will supervise customer activities in the new accounts and teller department as well as management of the facility and its operation.

Murphy is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing and management. She is also a graduate of the Missouri Bankers Association's School of Banking.
