The 32-member leadership council is made up of small-business owners from across the state. Its goal is to raise awareness of critical problems facing the small-business community and to recommend common-sense legislative remedies. During her term as chairman, Boyers will work with the leadership council to promote member development and involvement in the legislative process.

Patty and her husband, Steve, own Boycom Communications Inc., which provides cable TV service for the Poplar Bluff area. They also own and operate Bluff City Mobile Home Sales in Poplar Bluff. She has been a member of NFIB for six years and has served as a member of the leadership council for four years.
