BUSINESS PERSONNEL: BANK PROMOTION

Jay Knudtson, commercial banking client manager for Bank of America at Cape Girardeau, has been promoted to senior vice president.

Steve Taylor, president of Bank of America here, announced Knudtson's promotion recently.

As commercial banking client manager, Knudtson leads a team responsible for delivering a full spectrum of financial capabilities and expertise to commercial clients.

This includes debt, treasury, management and investment solutions; investment banking and capital markets; international trade services; leasing, commercial finance and personal wealth management.

Knudtson joined the bank in 1990 as a real estate loan officer. He has served in his current position since 1995.

Knudtson is a graduate of the Graduate School of real Estate Finance at Dallas, and the Graduate School of Banking at Boulder, Color. He attended the University of Minnesota. He is chairman of the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department, and president of the Cape Girardeau Parks Foundation. He is a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce.
