Thomas M. Meyer of Thomas L. Meyer Realty in Cape Girardeau, recently attended the National Association of Realtors (NAR) meeting in Washington D.C.
Meyer, a national director of the NAR, said the meeting involved matters concerning proposed legislation on a National Sales Tax, and its effect on houses, the internet use tax, and a number of other real estate taxation matters affecting home owners rights to private property.
Meyer serves as chairman of the Economic Development Council for Missouri Realtors and is a member of the International CIPS Advisory Committee.
