Paula J. Waller of Cape Girardeau has joined Andrews Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center of Southeast Missouri, 3874 E. Jackson Blvd., as care and communications coordinator.

Dr. Khonda Andrews announced Waller's appointment.

In addition to coordinating inner-office activities with patients, Waller, a native of Jackson, also will be responsible for handling the community related educational activities at the center.

Waller and Andrews recently attended an educational chiropractic seminar at Tampa, Fla.

Victor Tucker of Anna, Ill., has joined General Sign Co. of Cape Girardeau as production manager. Tucker has more than 25 years experience in quality and production management, including 12 years in the Cape Girardeau area.

Lisa Sheffer, director of nursing at Option Care, 61 Doctors' Park, and Richard Kinsey, director of marketing, have completed the Option Care National Training Course in Chicago.

The four-day session included topics on improving home patient care, medication reviews, JCAHO standards and new developments in home infusion and nutritional support.

Option Care, which specializes in home infusion and nutritional support, has more than 200 locally owned franchise operations in the U.S.

Beth Reimann of Cape Girardeau has completed requirements for designation as certified dental practice management assistant. She received her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board Inc. Reimann has worked at Dr. Shanon Kirchoff's orthodontic office since 1990.

Jay D. Burchfield, chairman and CEO of Boatmen's National Bank of Springfield and former president of Boatmen's National Bank of Cape Girardeau, has been named to head Boatmen's Bancshares' new subsidiary in Oklahoma.

Burchfield was named chairman and chief executive officer of Boatmen's National Bank of Oklahoma. The new subsidiary includes the Oklahoma operations of both Boatmen's and the recently acquired Fourth Financial Corp.

Kenneth Townsend was named president and chief operating officer of the new unit. He had been chairman, president and CEO of Boatmen's old Oklahoma unit.

Mike Murphy of Marion, Ill., and Jean Woodring of Cairo, Ill., have been named Outstanding Employees of the Year by Tip of Illinois Health Services and Delta Foundation.

Woodring, program director at Tip's Learning Tree in Cairo, received the Delta Foundation honors. She has been with Tip more than four years.

Murphy, a speech therapist at Tip of Illinois Services and Delta Rehabilitation Clinic at Carterville, joined Tip in 1987.

Awards were presented to a number of Tip employees during the company's recent Christmas party. Among other special recognition award winners were Bonnie Haertling of Perryville, Fran Bankson of McClure, Ill., Elizabeth Eagle of Anna, Ill., and Martha Smith of Mound City, Ill.

Dr. Gary J. Bridges of Cape Girardeau, a chiropractic physician, has completed a 16-hour, two-day continuing education seminar sponsored by the Missouri State Chiropractors' Association at St. Louis.

The MSCA. comprised of chiropractic physicians form Missouri, is involved in a number of activities including professional education and public service.

Bridges, a 1974 graduate of Logan College in St. Louis, has offices at 1301 N. Kingshighway.

Mary Scholl of Elite Travel recently attended a four-day tour of Las Vegas. Scholl toured a number of hotels, including Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino and the Mirage. Scholl specializes in Las Vegas trips and cruises.
