Lisa Sheffer, director of nursing at Optioncare of Cape Girardeau, and Crystal Young, a nurse at Optioncare, recently attended the 1995 Optioncare Conference in Phoenix.
Topics at the conference included seminars on ways to improve health care delivery, patient safety and the new JCAHO standards for home care.

Allen Oberbeck of Jackson has won an air compressor during a special promotion at Orschelon, 338 Christine.
The Sandborn Air Compressor, valued at more than $400, was one of a dozen grand prizes awarded throughout the Orschelon chain, which is comprised of more than 73 stores.
Store manager Jack Watts said the grand prize winners had their choice of an air compressor, a pressure washer or generator.
