Linda Eyler has joined Town & Country Realty, 1558 Independence, as a sales associate.

Eyler, a graduate from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a major in accounting, moved to Jackson from Washington.

Susan Hart has joined Copi-Rite Inc., 1526 Independence.

Hart of Jackson has experience in customer service, sales and marketing and will be responsible for Copy-Rite sales and marketing in the Cape Girardeau, Scott City and Jackson areas.

Cheryl Gelsheimer has joined Studio Design Beauty Salon.

Gelsheimer, a graduate of Stage One Hair School in Cape Girardeau, has more than six years experience.

She previously worked five years for the Regis Corp. at West Park Mall and a year at Touch of Class II in Sikeston.

Janet Esicar has been named vice president at Boatmen's Bank.

Esicar joined Boatmen's in 1994 and has served as a real estate loan officer. She has more than 20 years bank managerial experience.

Esicar, a graduate of Cape Central High School, attended Southeast Missouri State University before starting her banking career in 1974 at the former First Federal Savings and Loan in Cape Girardeau.

She is a member of the SEMO Homebuilders Association and Cape County Realtors.

Debbie Glenn of Manpower Temporary Services, 2909 Beaver Creek Drive, recently attended a weeklong professional service seminar at Manpower's international headquarters in Milwaukee.

Manpower's training programs, research and development were among topics discussed.

Glenn said the local Manpower office has been working with a number of companies to administer training on popular computer software, such as Windows 95, WordPerfect and Lotus 1-2-3.

Tonya Buttry and Linda Wessel, Southeast Missouri Hospital staff members, have contributed to a new medical-surgical textbook published by Addison-Wesley Nursing, a division of the Benjamin/Cummings Publishing Co.

Buttry chairs Southeast's College of Nursing and has been employed by the hospital for 13 years. Wessel is a patient educator with Southeast's Educational Services and has been a staff member for 11 years.

Laura Faye Thomas of Bankers Life and Casualty Co., 1925 A. William St., has qualified for the company's most prestigious performance award, the President's Honor Circle.

The award is based on sales productivity, quality business and professional service during 1995.

Mathew Showmaker of Baker Implement Co. in Cape Girardeau, has completed a training session on servicing Case IH MAXXUM tractors at the Case service training center in Memphis.

The session included detailed analysis of components, settings and calibrations as well as troubleshooting recommendations for the hydraulic, hitch and electrical systems, on the MAXXUM Tractors.

Case is headquartered in Racine, Wis.

Stephen Gabriel was winner of Prestige Air Services' grand prize during a recent open house at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

Gabriel received a certificate for five hours of flight instruction from Prestige, the Cessna Pilot Center. Prestige Air announced its association with Cessna May 9.

Other prizes during the open house included free aircraft and headset time and three discovery flights.

Prestige is in the process of applying for its 141 flight school certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. The company already holds a 135 certificated from the FAA for air charter for both passenger and freight.

Linda Schoen of Oak Ridge was the winner of the 1996 Dodge Dakota Truck Giveaway conducted by KGMO 100.7 Radio and Auffenberg Chrysler Supercenter.

Schoen, one of 125 final qualifiers, selected the lucky key that started the new truck.

Jerry Welch of American Family Insurance, 1021 Kingsway Drive, is listed among the top 10 American Family agents for the company.

Welch, Amy Cain, Vicki Kell and Terry Welch teamed for the No. 2 rating of 3,100 agencies from 13 states and No. 1 in Missouri.
