Prudy Selsor, personnel assistant in St. Francis Medical Center's human resources department, has been named the hospital's Employee of the Year.
Selsor was selected from among 12 employees who had been named employees of the month during 1995.
Selsor, of Jackson, joined St. Francis 10 years ago and has held clerical positions in various departments, including admitting, materials management and housekeeping. In the human resources department she is involved in travel, employee benefits and recruitment.
Don Berry has joined the administrative staff of Southeast Missouri Hospital, Southeast administrator James W. Wente announced.
Berry received his business degree from Ouachita Baptist University at Arkadelphia, Ark. He holds a law degree from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and is a member of the Arkansas and Missouri bar associations.
Prior to joining Southeast, he worked at St. Francis Medical Center. He works on special projects at Southeast.
Berry has worked with the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas, American Medical International, and as director of physician services for Baptist Medical System in Little Rock. He is a member of the National Health Lawyers Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
David Glastetter, Loretta Turner, Barbara Giddens, James Cox and Larry Underwood, all of ERA Cape Realty, 1409-A. N. Mount Auburn Road, attended the annual ERA International Business Conference in Phoenix, Ariz.
More than 3,000 member brokers and sales associates from 50 states and 13 foreign countries attended. A primary topic was ERA Online, ERA Real Estate's home-shopping service on the Internet.

The Cape Girardeau company recently became an authorized Titleist regional fitting center for Titleist Golf Clubs.
Titleist has been promoting the fitting program for four years, concentrating on lie angle, club length, shaft flex, offset, grip size and model.
David W. Craiglow of Machinery Maintenance Inc. in Cape Girardeau attended a training session at the Case Corp. Service Training Center in Racine, Wis. The session covered servicing Case "L" series loader-backhoes.
Craiglow is among more than 3,000 Case dealer service personnel who will participate in similar training seminars this year.

She was named winner of the phone during the St. Francis Medical Center's Womancare Conference. She received her award from Daniel Kimball, Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems account executive.
Shelley May has been promoted to lead coordinator for Addus Healthcare branch at Anna, Ill. Mays joined Addus in 1991 as a program supervisor.
Addus provides home care to elderly people in Illinois' 13 southernmost counties.
Ameritech Cellular and Paging, headquartered at St. Louis, has announced organizational changes for Southeast Missouri.
Donna Hanschen will oversee billing, customer service, marketing and public relations in her role as area manager-operations of Southeast Missouri, working out of the Cape Girardeau area. She joined Ameritech in 1991. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
Kirk Barks has been named manager of indirect distribution for Southeast Missouri and will oversee agent and retail operations for the Cape Girardeau store. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
Cara Myer, previously assistant manager-operations, has been promoted to manager of sales and service support in St. Louis.
Tim Hahn has been promoted to retail store manager at Cape Girardeau, and Don Hinkebein recently joined Ameritech as assistant manager of operations. Stephanie Anderson has been promoted to agent support. Raymond Gillis has been named Ameritech lead technician, transferring here from Poplar Bluff. He has been with the company since 1991.
Dee Burton, 85, of Kansas City has been named Missouri Older Worker of the Year.
Burton, one of 190 nominees, has worked at the Kansas City Library since 1988.
Other semi-finalists for the honor, presented during National Employ the Older Worker Week, included U.L. Smith of Poplar Bluff and E. Irene Smith of Kennett. Fourteen semifinalists attended special recognition activities at Jefferson City. It included a luncheon at the Governor's Mansion hosted by first lady Jean Carnahan.
Other nominees from the area were Bernice Glass of VIP Heartland Industries; Mary Ellen Taylor, Security Bank of Marble Hill; and Naomi Trapp, Trula Richardet and Elda Manger, all of Perry County Nursing Home.
