Raymond P. Enderle of Cape Girardeau, Donald J. Hinkebein of Jackson and Raymond I. Gillis of Marble Hill have joined JCS/Tel-Link, 1605 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau.
Enderle, who has more than 10 years of experience in sales and customer services, will be communications consultant. He previously served as assistant manager with Steve-Mark in Cape Girardeau. His most recent position was as assistant manager and sales representative with Cellular Systems Inc. in Kansas City. Enderle, a graduate of Notre Dame High School at Cape Girardeau, is working toward a bachelor's degree in business management with emphasis in marketing from Park College. He has attended training sessions by Motorola and Ameritech Cellular.
Hinkebein, new operations manager at the business, previously served as customer service manager-Southeast Missouri, with Ameritech Cellular and Paging the past two years. He was general manager of the Midwest region for the Florsheim Shoe Factory Outlet from 1987 to 1996. Hinkebein is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, with a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a major in management and minor in marketing.
Gillis will serve as technician and installer at JCS/Tel-Link. He previously served as lead technician in cellular phone equipment with Ameritech Cellular in Cape Girardeau. He attended Three Rivers Community College at Poplar Bluff. He has completed a number of courses and training, included basic electronics, Motorola Cellular Service curses, and other cellular courses. He will be installer for two-way radio equipment, mobile and portable units, satellite and cellular telephones.
Sylvia Lipps and Amy Bucher, both of Hartle Management Agency Inc., Jackson, have received "Manager of the Year" honors from the Missouri Council for Rural Housing Development, during an annual meeting at St. Louis.
Lipps, who manages apartments in Marble Hill, Jackson and Cape Girardeau for the Hartle Agency, was named "Manager of the Year" for the state of Missouri.
Bucher, who manages apartments for Hartle in Jackson, Cape Girardeau and Perryville, was named "Manager of the Year" in District VII, which includes the 14 counties in Southeast Missouri.
Hartle Management Agency Inc. is owned and operated by Chad and Geneva Hartle.
Dennis Underwood has been honored for 40 years of service with Ford Groves Motor Co.
Underwood of Cape Girardeau is sales manager at Ford Groves, 1501 N. Kingshighway. He joined Ford Groves in 1958 when it was at Sprigg and Themis streets. At one time, he was part-owner of the business.
Underwood has received numerous awards from Ford Motor Co. for outstanding sales, customer satisfaction and knowledge of the product. He received the prestigious Ford 300/500 Master Club award a number of times.
Two administrative staff members at Southeast Missouri Hospital have advanced to Diplomate status in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Jerry Sanders, Southeast's assistant administrator of finance, and Dan Berry, achieved the Diplomate status following written and oral examinations.
Sanders, a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in accounting, received his certificate as a certified public accountant in Illinois in 1976 and in Missouri in 1982. He joined the hospital staff in 1982 as controller and was appointed chief financial officer in 1991. He assumed his current duties in 1994.
Before coming to Cape Girardeau, Sanders was an audit manager and health care consultant with the accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath at Carbondale.
Berry holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark., and juris doctorate from the College of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He joined the administrative staff at Southeast Missouri Hospital in 1996 after serving two years in administration at St. Francis Medical Center.
Prior to coming to Cape Girardeau, Berry was associated with the University of Arkansas College of Medicine; American Medical International Inc. at Houston and Tyler in Texas and Hot Springs, Ark.; and the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
