Kathy Webb has been promoted to accounts payable specialist at Dana Corp.'s Spicer Axle Division, 2075 Corporate Circle, Cape Girardeau.

Webb joined Dana in June 1993 as a cell technician in Department 500.

She is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Shawn Freeman has joined Rose City Auto Sales, 566 S. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau as salesman.

Freeman of Cape Girardeau has more than four years experience in auto sales.

Timothy J. Schetter of Maryland Heights has passed the state's Uniform Certified Public Accountant examination.

Schetter is formerly of Cape Girardeau and a graduate of Cape Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University.

Schetter, son of Elmer and Sandra Schetter of Cape Girardeau, is employed as senior head accountant at Bunzil Inc. in St. Louis.

Dr. David A. Taylor has re-joined the medical staff of Community Counseling Center.

Taylor was staff psychiatrist for the center from 1987 to 1988, and served as medical director from 1988 to 1991.

More recently, Taylor served as medical director of the Choate Mental Health and Development Center at Anna, Ill., where he also trained and supervised medical residents from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Taylor will serve as medical director of children's services for Community Counseling Center, 402 S. Silver Springs Road, where he will maintain a clinical practice for providing psychiatric treatment for both children and adults.

Patrick Kennedy, a clinical wound specialist at St. Francis Center for Health and Rehabilitation, has received the status of Certified Wound Specialist by the credentialing committee of the American Academy of Wound Medical Management.

Kennedy, a wound management consultant with Davol Inc., has lectured in continuing education courses on local and national levels.

He received his associate's degree in physical therapy from Amarillo College in Texas and has more than 300 hours of continuing education in wound management.

Janet G. Job of MetLife Insurance, 351 Silver Springs Road, recently attended a women's conference in Boston where she was guest speaker, discussing women in today's marketplace.

Job has also attended two tax institutes -- in Florham Park, N.J., and San Jose, Calif. -- on estate planning issues.

Job is one of MetLife's top five agents in the nation.

William R. "Bill" Schott and Melvin J. Van de Ven, of Schott & Van de Ven Certified Public Accountants, Cape Girardeau, recently attended the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Forum on "Competing in a Changing Marketplace," held in Naples, Fla.

Schott is managing partner of the firm and has more than 40 years experience. Van de Ven has more than 30 years experience and is a certified valuation analyst.

Schott and Van de Ven have been partners 30 years. Both are certified in Missouri and Illinois.

Richard D. Moss of Tamms, Dale E. Taake of Ullin and Bob J. Ury of Jonesboro were recently re-elected to the board of the Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative.

Robert Inman of Grand Chain was elected president of the board, during the cooperative's annual meeting. Larry Fisher of Karnak was named vice president, and Barbara Pitts of Buncombe was named secretary-treasurer.

Larry Lovell is manager of SIEC, which serves power to more than 10,634 members in Alexander, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski and Union counties in Southern Illinois.
