The two-day workshop, at the Cairo National Guard Armory, 410 Washington Ave., is designed to help veterans learn about employment opportunities in state government.
The event, sponsored by the Veterans Outreach Program, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Veterans will be briefed on the state employment process, completing state applications and job counseling. Additional information is available by calling 1-800-643-8138.
