BUSINESS MEMO: TALENT CHAMBER SPEAKER

U.S. Rep. Jim Talent, chairman of the House Small Business Committee and a Republican candidate for Missouri governor, will be guest speaker at the Jackson Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet.

The banquet will be held June 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall at Jackson starting at 6 p.m.

Talent recently introduced H.R. 1427, the Safety and Advancement for Employees Act, a bill designed to improve worker safety by changing the relationship between employers and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
