BUSINESS MEMO: RICE OUTLOOK CONFERENCE

This year's USA Rice Outlook Conference will be held in Tunica, Miss., about 40 miles south of Memphis, Tenn.

The domestic and international situation land outlook will be presented during the three-day, Dec. 7-9 conference. Sessions will be held on rice variety development, conservation tillage, rice imports and exports, and effects of El Nino

"If you're into rice, you should attend this conference," said Curtis Leonhardt, vice president of membership and communications for the USA Rice Federation.

The conference, to be held at the Hollywood Hotel and Casino, will also feature a trade show, with the latest in products and services for the rice industry exhibited.
