A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Friday at the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association's new "Speculative Shell Building at 4901 Nash Road.
The 200-by-300-foot, 60,000-square-foot speculative building, designed by the Cape Girardeau architectural firm of Sebek, Alberson and Associates, on an eight-acre tract in the Nash Road Industrial Park, is ready for lease.
A number of area businesses and groups worked with the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association to build the speculation building. They include: Sebek, Alberson and Associates; Boatmen's National Bank; the Greater Cape Girardeau Development Corp.; the Industrial Development Authority of Cape Girardeau County; Mercantile Bank of Cape Girardeau, Penzel Construction Co. Inc.; Union Electric Co. and Union Planters Bank.
