"Back to the Basics -- Recreating Your Community," will be the theme of the annual Quinstate Economic Development Conference, to be held at the Best Western Coach House In & Suites in Sikeston, April 10 and 11.
The Quinstate Conference, co-sponsored by cooperative extension services from Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee, and local chambers of commerce throughout the region, is held at various sites. It was held in Paducah, Ky., last year. The 1992 conference was held at Cape Girardeau.

The Quinstate Conference is designed as an audience-participation event, with the idea of sharing successes, ideas, exploring common problems and finding solutions.
Activities will include a dinner buffet and area tours.
