BUSINESS MEMO: PIC RECEIVES AWARD

The Southeast Missouri Private Industry Council has won the Special Achievement of Excellence Award in the customer focus and satisfaction category from the Missouri Training and Employment Council.

The award was presented to the PIC during the annual Governor's Job Training Conference at Lake of the Ozarks. The award recognizes PIC for excellence in providing employment training services in its 13-county area. This marks the second year PIC has received the award.

Ron Swift is executive director of PIC, headquartered at 760 S. Kingshighway. The group has partner organization staff in Dexter, East Prairie, Hayti, Park Hills, Perryville, Marble Hill, Fredericktown, Pilot Knob and Ste. Genevieve.
