The daylong course -- 8 a.m. to 4:30 -- "How to Hire, Fire, and Discipline Your Employees Effectively and Within the Law in Missouri," is scheduled for Oct. 5 in St. Louis, Oct. 6 in Cape Girardeau, Oct. 7 in Springfield and Oct. 8 in Kansas City. The course is designed to help companies understand employment practices laws and regulations at both the state and federal levels. The course will help employers avoid problems in hiring, disciplining and discharging employees.
