Atlas Cold Storage Missouri Limited is the newest business to announce it will locate in the new Sikeston Business and Technology Park.
Atlas, which warehouses and distributes ice cream for Good Humor-Breyers Ice Cream, will build a 168,500-square-foot facility in the new park.
The Atlas building will be attached to the Good Humor Breyers building through a tunnel.
Atlas will employ about 50 people over three shifts.
Merle Lemmen, chief operations officer of Atlas USA, and Oscar Welsher, vice president of engineering for the company, were in Sikeston recently for a groundbreaking.

A 200,000-square-foot facility is being built on a 40-acre site in the Sikeston Business and Technology Park five miles from the ice cream plant. The new, $35 million expansion will result in an addition 200 employees for Good Humor.
