U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson will unveil a new business and economic development group in the 8th Congressional District this week.
Emerson will announce the new 8th Congressional District Business and Economic Development Advisory Team on Wednesday at two sites, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Glenn Auditorium of Robert A. Dempster Hall on Southeast Missouri State University campus, and from 1:30 to 3:30 at the South Central Ozark Council of Governments office on the grounds of the West Plains Regional Airport.

Emerson has asked citizen leaders in business, government or academia to join her Southern Missouri-based group.
