An Illinois company that makes medical products will consolidate its international distribution operation in Nashville, Tenn.
Hollister Inc. of Libertyville has signed a lease for a 100,000-square-foot warehouse to be built for the company in north Nashville, less than four miles from downtown.
Construction starts this month, and Hollister expects to move in by midyear.
Hollister officials declined to say how many workers the distribution center would employ.
The company, which sells its products in 90 countries, will consolidate distribution operations in Kirksville, Mo., and Stuarts Draft, Va., said William Rusie, Hollister's distribution manager in Nashville.
The 77-year-old company makes products including wound dressings and equipment used in hospital delivery rooms.
