"World Class: How to Team Up for Success Wherever You Live and Work," is the topic of the Worldwide Lessons in Leadership, a closed-circuit program, to be shown throughout the nation and 50 countries around the world Nov. 18.
The Donald L. Harrison College of Business at Southeast Missouri State University, will be the host of the local gathering at the Show Me Center, from 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Three business authors and speakers, along with two business executives, will address the worldwide audience on a variety of critical issues during the daylong program.
Stephen R. Covey, author of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," Ken Blanchard, co-author of "The One Minute Manager" series; and Tom Peters, co-author of "In Search of Excellence, will be featured speakers. John F. "Jack" Welch, chairman and CEO of General Electric, and Herbert D. Kelleher, chairman, CEO and president of Southwest Airlines, will appear during a 75-minute "Fortune" session. Linda Ellerbee, an award-winning journalist, will serve as event moderator.
