The grant, from the Community Development Block Grant program will be used for street, water and sewer improvements in Sikeston Business & Technology Park. As a result Atlas Cold Storage will place a new cold storage warehouse in the facility.

The Atlas warehouse will be built adjacent to the new Good Humor/Breyer ice cream products facility.

Atlas Cold Storage is part of the Spire Group, which operates a number of refrigerated warehouses in the United States, including a warehouse at the Good Humor/Breyer facility at Green Bay, Wis.
