BUSINESS MEMO: ILLINOIS EMPLOYMENT RISES FOR SIXTH STRAIGHT MONTH
Illinois' June unemployment rate rose to 5.3 percent from May's 5.2 percent. June marked the sixth-straight month Illinois' employment topped 5.8 million. The number of unemployed Illinoisans rose 5,053 to 326,072 in June.
