The Entrepreneurial Agriculture in the North Delta conference will be held Nov. 13, at the Family Living Center at Dyer County Fairgrounds in Dyersburg, Tenn..
The conference is sponsored by the Delta Land and Community with cooperation from extensions services, USDA-Rural Development and USDA-NRCS from regions of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas.
Numerous speakers are on the agenda, including Sara Vogel, past Commissioner of Agriculture for North Dakota; Dennis Rodemeier with the Missouri Economic Development Commission; Van H. Ayers, agriculture engineering specialist, university outreach at New Madrid and Bloomfield; Dr. Randall E. Torgerson, deputy administrator, cooperative Services, Washington, D.C.; Paul Teague of Delta Fresh Inc., of Missouri and Arkansas.
The daylong-meeting starts at 9 a.m. and will end about 3 p.m.
