Dana Corp.'s local Spicer Light Vehicle Axle Division Plant, 2075 Corporate Circle, in Cape Girardeau, has been selected as one of the best 25 plants in the United States by Industry Week magazine.
The local plant was named as one of the finalists for the "Best Plants in America" recently, and is eligible for the "Top 10" list, which will be announced in October.
Between now and October, the local plant will undergo additional questionnaires, and a validation visit from the magazine's representatives.

It's an honor to be selected to the "Top 25," said Dave Blanchard, manager of the local plant. "We hope now to be named to the "Top 10."
The local Dana facility is also in the running for the Missouri Quality Award this year.
"Our people here have done a great job in all quality categories this year," said Blanchard.
