The Entrepreneurial Agriculture Conference will be held at Sikeston Dec. 7.

The fourth annual event will be held at the Ramada In and will focus on value added enterprises for farmers in the Delta Region, which includes Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and Illinois.

Rep. Jo Ann Emerson, from Missouri's 8th Congressional District, will discuss value-added agriculture and new markets.

* Value Added Diversification in Row Crows, including rice processing, new crops, ethanol, cottonseed processing and fee hunting.

* Emerging Bootheel Industries, including aquaculture, shrimp, forest and marketing alliances.

* Emerging Technologies for new Delta industries, including precision agriculture, rice/cotton byproducts, Kenaf/hemp.
