AAL, headquartered at Appleton, Wis., provides its members with fraternal benefits and its affiliated companies offer members mutual funds and credit union services. In addition, AAL members are offered opportunities to help others in their own communities.

Officers of the Pocahontas branch are Milton Haertling, Altenburg, president; James Kranawetter, Jackson, vice president; and Pauline Richter, Altenburg, secretary. Branch 1137 is supported by AAL district representative Tammy Bohnert of Frohna.

Officers of the Friedheim branch are Harlan Tuschhoff, Sedgewickville, president; Diane Mangels, Friedheim, vice president; Mary Hohde, Friedheim, secretary; and Sharon McMillan, Friedheim, treasurer. Branch 1255 is supported by AAL district representative Stephen Grebing, Jackson.
