Honda's highest honor awarded to Wieser Honda

Wieser Honda of Cape Girardeau has earned the Honda President's Award for outstanding performance for 2004. This prestigious award is presented to select dealerships that exhibit excellence throughout all areas of their operation. This is the seventh time that Wieser Honda has received the award.

Counseling sessions for small business this week

The Small Business Development Center of Southeast Missouri State University will conduct counseling sessions for area small business people and those planning new business ventures. The counselor, Gil Degenhardt, will be available from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, 1267 N. Mount Auburn Road. Call 335-3312 for an appointment. The hourlong sessions are free. Sessions will be available on from 10 a.m until 3 p.m. Thursday at the Southeast Regional Planning Commission, 1 W. St. Joseph St., in Perryville, Mo. Chamber's business after hours set for Tuesday

The Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce's monthly Business After Hours will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday The event, a chance for community members to network and socialize, will be held at Royal N'Orleans at 300 Broadway.

Buchheit division goes year without accidents

Dave Danker, general manager of the Buchheit Agri Division, and his team were recognized for achieving an outstanding safety record, celebrating one year of accident-free operation. Tim Buchheit, president of Buchheit Enterprises, honored the Agri Division team with a steak dinner and commemorative plaque.
