Local IAAP chapter celebrating 60th
Kay Enlow, who has been employed with Hallmark Cards since 1980, will be the guest speaker at 60th anniversary celebration of the Girardot Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals on April 7. Enlow is an administrative assistant working with the employee relations director in the human resources division. She is a charter member of the Hallmark Chapter of IAAP.
Dr. Margaret-Mary G. Wilson, assistant professor of internal medicine and geriatrics at Saint Louis University, will speak at the Go Red for Women luncheon sponsored by Saint Francis Medical Center on April 6. Her program, "Don't Break My Heart," will focus on reducing risk factors that contribute to heart disease. Wilson has authored numerous articles for an assortment of health-care publications, with her main research interests focusing on geriatric care and women's health issues. The Go Red for Women luncheon is part of the American Heart Association's national initiative to educate women on the dangers of heart disease. The luncheon will be at the Osage Center, 1625 N. Kingshighway, and will feature educational displays and raffles from 11 am to 1 p.m., with lunch served at noon.
