LETTERS: A DREAM FOR ALLENVILLE COMMUNITY

To the editor:

For many years, I have wished and dreamed of how Allenville could be helped. There is nothing impossible with God. If we put him first and honor him, he will bless.

I purchased the entire abandoned railroad property and deeded same to the civic interest of Allenville. I have heard many statements concerning the improvements on this property. I would like to see a nice retirement home built in Allenville, also a day-care center for children so their parents can work. I also would like to see a small factory or workshop.

We need a grocery store, a restaurant, a general merchandise store, a barber and beauty shop, a laundry, a public telephone and some kind of public transportation.

Allenville needs some restrictions to keep the village clean. We need our bridges painted and the waterways cleaned out.
